About Wayne Adams

I attended the University of Pittsburgh @ Johnstown and acquired a biology (Pre-Med) degree, followed by a BS in Secondary Science Education in hopes of teaching at CTHS. After obtaining my teaching certification, I was hired by CTASD to fill in as a long-term substitute for half of a school year in 1991, but I could not secure a permanent position in the district at the time. In the fall of 1992, I became an employee of the Clayburg-Kimmel School District where I taught Jr. and Sr. high science classes and coached wrestling, softball, and baseball for seven years, all the while living in Conemaugh Township. In 1997 I married a CT alumnus (Barbara Stevanus) and we bought our first home in Davidsville. In the summer of I was hired by CTASD and was able to return to the “The Reservation”, and fulfill my goal of working where I have spent my entire life. I coached wrestling for a few years, until the birth of our son Connor in 2002. I have been Blessed to be able to work in a field that I enjoy, in an area that I love, with coworkers whom I respect, in a District of which I am proud. My family and I are proud to be products of the Conemaugh Township School District, and as a part of that system, I hope to help create productive, successful, and happy individuals from the students that move through my classroom. I currently teach Anatomy and Physiology, Ecology & Environmental Science, and Geo-Astronomy at Conemaugh Township Area School District. I have also been the Head Coach for the Jr High football program since 2015.
