Experienced First Aid Responder and Patient Transport Officer, Wayne has a well-developed skill set, including effective communication, problem-solving, leadership and rapport-building. He has been working in the pre-hospital healthcare sector for approximately seven years, making use of existing skills gained over thirty plus years of working life and applying them within a healthcare context. Wayne has effectively interacted with thousands of people throughout Victoria and has provided first aid treatment interventions and assistance to many. He has been awarded a Diploma of Paramedical Science, a certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. Passionate about helping people and providing high quality patient centred care, Wayne enjoys his role as a healthcare worker as he is genuinely caring and compassionate. He always makes ethical decisions in the best interests of those in his care, working in accordance with codes of conduct and clinical practice guidelines. Wayne is confident in the way he works and prides himself on leading by example.
