About Wayne Board

I am a Biomechanist with over 17 years of experience in biomechanics laboratory settings as a researcher, manager, and technician. My experiences have afforded me knowledge in performing prototype and current product development, testing and analysis, and evaluation of clinical and athlete (every day to elite) populations. I have created and employed successful testing protocols for testing in both academic, including NIH funded research, and industry projects. From my varied positions, I am very skilled in many biomechanical instruments/software with ability to teach, manage, maintain, and modify this equipment. As a lab manager, I developed strong communication skills and expertise in working positively with varied development and research teams. I am experienced in developing and maintaining lab budgets. In addition, I am skilled with developing and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of research partners and vendors to accomplish successful projects. I was instrumental in design, overseeing construction, and equipment resourcing of new biomechanical/physiological labs.
