About Wayne Burr

Leveraging my many years of experience in endpoint service and support, for the past 10 years I have supervised a team of dedicated and skilled technicians at the University of Manitoba, one of Canada's top research universities. I oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software for over endpoints, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. I also work closely with the service desk operations to ensure that both of our teams are providing timely and quality service delivery with a focus on customer satisfaction. I have multiple ITIL certifications (ITIL v3 and v4 Foundations, Intermediate certificates (v3) for Operational Support and Analysis, and Planning, Protection and Optimization) which enables me to apply the evolving ITIL framework and best practices to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the endpoint service and support processes. I am passionate about providing reliable and secure IT solutions that support the academic and administrative needs of the university community. I value collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and I seek to empower my team and stakeholders with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve their goals.
