About Wayne Ham

I am seeking a management level position in a technically challenging environment. I believe that my extensive background in management level positions, combined with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering should be beneficial to your organization. Prior to entering the Paper Mfg, I had been working as the Mechanical Supervisor at Gerdau, a steel manufacturing company. My duties include maintaining all mechanical equipment in the melt shop and casting areas. This included a temporary assignment to the Engineering department to assist with a special project. Previously, I held different levels of management in the metal recycling business. My last positions before entering into to the steel manufacturing business was managing the metal recycling facility in Toledo, Ohio. At the facility, I was responsible for personnel, establishing an annual budget, and overall plant operations. The facilities labor group was represented under a labor union contract. During my management, I negotiated two labor union contracts. Other important responsibilities included compliance with all industrial safety, health, and environmental laws. The position of manager gave me an overall understanding of plant operations that has enhanced my decision making and problem solving skills.
