About Wayne Hesch

As a Product Manager with nearly 15 years of software development experience, I represent the voice of the customer, continually striving for products that exceed their expectations. In my current role, I manage and guide the business analysis and requirements gathering for OCAS's product lines, including college applications and client partner portal services. I collaborate across several groups in our company: sales, marketing, and technical support, in order to stay abreast of client concerns, but also identify value statements, training opportunities, and emerging market trends. I work with the development team in order to translate user stories into product backlog items, in an agile/scrum environment. I continually monitor industry trends and competitor products, and present opportunities to stakeholders in order to help guide the Product Roadmap and Vision. Knowing our products and understanding our clients' current and future needs are crucial for this role. I excel at communicating with our clients: I have presented at tradeshows and workshops around the globe, and taught numerous courses for the private and public sector. I have authored numerous technical blog articles and white papers; our product videos on YouTube have received more than views. I am passionate about solving market problems for our customers - and not hesitant to tell the world about our great accomplishments!
