I am an Advanced Scaffolder who has been working in the Construction Industry for 22 Years. I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed offshore-onshore Scaffolder, who is self-driven and enjoys meeting demanding deadlines. I am able to demonstrate flexibility and initiative whilst working in a team. These strengths have helped me develop an excellent reputation with over 19 years of experience in my field. My position requires a methodical/logical approach with a good knowledge and attitude towards health and safety which provide all my team with clear instruction and a safe working environment. In my current position in offshore scaffolding, my main principal responsibilities and main area of focus are point of contact between offshore management to ensure delivery of contract in line with relevant company, industrial, HSE standards, coordination of materials, plant and equipment to facilitate successful projects. Ensure scaffolds are built to relevant standards and meet compliance, whilst delivering quality control and audits. I carry out daily toolbox talks, risk assessments and arranging scaffold materials, plant and equipment for successful and safe completion of jobs within tight deadlines. I have excellent communication skills which also allow me to fulfil my job role, whilst working on big industrial contracts in Harland & Wolf ship yard, different bridges and offshore on various oil platforms and this gives me the ability to erect all different types of scaffold from hanging scaffolds to independent scaffolds. My responsibilities after all jobs are finished are to include and ensure the cleaning up of all worksites and keeping in line with health and safety regulations.
