About Wayne Kimball

An effective leader in the IT field is one who always keeps the vision in mind, is undeterred by obstacles, and who understands challenges as opportunities for improvement. As a servant-leader, my role is to lay the groundwork for my team’s success by creating a can-do culture of open communication and ensuring that each team member is well-positioned and equipped with all the tools necessary to achieve success. Known for being approachable and inquisitive, I am constantly taking in and distilling information from all corners, then devising long-range strategies that improve processes and resolve challenges. Collaboration is also key, and I’ve found it vitally important to be able to bring diverse stakeholders and team members across disciplines on board when proposing bold solutions that are so integral to maintaining a competitive edge in today’s rapidly developing technological landscape. Although much of my career has been focused on Information Security, I possess a broad skillset and strategic mindset readily transferrable to other areas in Information Technology. My tenure with American Airlines has been highly productive and mutually beneficial. I look forward to continuing to advance my career.
