Goal: Utilize my experience to assist in the development and management international research programs in infectious diseases specifically HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and Ebola Virus Disease using clinical research methodologies, epidemiology, behavioral, and community-based approaches addressing a population health perspective. Career Interests: Research/site development, feasibility and capacity assessment; planning for international clinical trials, and population health research in developing-world and resource-limited settings. At FHI Clinical/FHI 360 as Senior Clinical Research Project Manager, managed research opportunities in resource-limited settings, coordinated sponsor portfolios generating task orders, supported business development activities including response to proposals and bid defense. As Senior Project Manager at INC Research, managed global Late Phase, PASS, and REMS projects providing single service to full service support, and projects in multiple functional/ therapeutic area. Assisted in business development, contract negotiation, bid defense, and managed executed contracts and finances of assigned projects. As Project Manager/Technical Advisor at SciMetrika, provided program/project management on multiple population health contracts, technical guidance on projects, scientific focus, and business development proposals. GHC Clinical Research Program Coordinator role developing research & programming opportunities using informed models of TB/MDR-TB/HIV time of treatment, care, and diagnostic device research. Project Manager for PPD Clinical Research Support Services contract (DAIDS): Project management and training support for studies in Cambodia, Haiti, and Thailand. Presently have over 21 yrs clinical trial experience; 16 yrs international clinical trials including site, pharmacy, and lab capacity assessment/development. In-country site management experience in US, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Peru, Thailand, Brazil, Russia, China, Cambodia, and Ethiopia. In-country clinical/ lab assessment and monitoring/auditing in Cambodia, Dem. Rep. of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Lesotho, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia. Co-authored, piloted, and evaluated the course "Research Ethics Training Curriculum for Community Participants."
