CAREER SUMMARY I have 36 Years of extensive project and operational experience across a variety of sectors in civil works including: • All civil road construction & asphalt placement, including bitumen seals • Bridge Structures new, & bridge structures and repairs and maintenance • Demolition works, with bridge structures, & culverts • Civil drainage, installation of culverts, pipe laying, concrete gullies • Bulk earthworks. • All types of concreting and formworks / false works • Geotechnical sites: Working with geotechnical REPQ engineers in rock mapping unstable slopes ready for regrading, installation of, soil nails, passive rock dowels, active rock bolts, micro piling, gabion baskets and reno mattress works, crib walls, boulder walls, rock protection, excavation of slopes with stability issues, environmental erosion matting over slopes, concrete kerb and channel works • Knowledge in TMR, specification and procedures with, hold points, witness points, and milestone • Traffic control enforcement and daily checks • Sediment controls and enforcement and daily checks- Monthly Audits • Safety controls of sites and enforcement and daily checks – Monthly Audit. Compliance testing in the field in all areas with civil works. I can over see many processes, within the MRTS construction and Inspection of their assets, from start to finish ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation. MRTS minimum standards all comply with all works. As well I have a good knowledge with council’s and governments planning schemes & processes, with design standards, policies and best practice. Working well with the overseeing all works with contractors to get the best outcome in all aspect of any works.
