About Wayne Li
May 2012, I was 22 years old, I left my corporate marketing job, put my life savings on the line and signed the lease on a weathered squash center. I set out with one dream: to build a gym I truly loved to train in. One squash court at a time, I turned that vision into reality, but for the first four years I paid to work. Fast forward 12 years: I've bootstrapped our way to three locations, built a team of 30+, and earned recognition as one of Melbourne's top-rated gym businesses. The most rewarding part of this journey is watching team members grow into business owners through our employee equity path. Over the next decade, a mission of mine is to help create more successful business owners under the Training Day banner.
