About Wayne MacKey

Bringing 26 year of military service and 25 years of management and supervisory experience in the fields of Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications with expertise in mission planning, and financial oversight I have positioned myself for leadership positions in the IT and Telecommunication fields. Within the last few years I have accomplished several notable achievements. Used Lean Six Sigma as a tool to reduce Copier operating costs over a seven year period by $1.4 million dollars. Managed and prepared the $1.4 million dollar POM budget forecast for the Land Mobile Radio (LMR), and Copier program supporting four Sustainment Brigades, five tenant organizations servicing 13,500 service members. Supervised 20 Telephone Control Officers (TCO) and 20 Copier Managers within the command to ensure the LMR and Copier programs remains active and supportive of evolving mission requirements. Successfully maintained a $2.1 million dollar budget while short three GS-2210-12 (PLCYPLN) specialists within a G6 Plans section. Developed and implemented the command G6 Office Inspection Program (OIP) for two division level units, six brigades, and three direct reporting units; performed inspections, training, assistance and out briefed inspection results to the unit Commanders and the Commander, 21st TSC. Developed major information technology program plans for execution throughout the 21st TSC for video teleconferencing (VTC); contingency deployment packages; information management training; copier and MRT life cycle budgets, and Battle Command Systems (BCS) support. Provided TIER I/II automation and VTC support to a Brigade; Managed CYBERCOM, NETCOM and 7th Signal Command network initiatives.
