A professional with extensive hands-on and supervisory experience in Youth Services, Community Safety and Correctional Services. I have achieved a successful record as an investigator and supervisor in delivering results to internal and external stakeholders. My skills encompass knowledge of human resources practices and the grievance process to effectively represent the employer in labour relations issues, and work with bargaining agents to ensure effective employee relations • offender misconduct investigations • officer code of conduct investigations • sergeant conduct investigations • respectful workplace investigations • health and safety investigations • ombudsman investigations and client conflict resolution board investigations. Currently as a Strategic Advisor for the Corrections Leadership Management and Fundamental Unit, I have demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking to identify critical issues, gaps and risks and utilized my problem-solving skills and change management certification to respond to various initiatives assisting to meet divisional commitments of advance people-centered leadership, inclusivity and diversity through workplace and workforce excellence initiatives to promote and support staff development/engagement through effective conversations workshops, performance planning guidance, and employee engagement plans • liaise and collaborate with colleagues, partners and stakeholders on a variety of projects and assignments on behalf of, and in support of, the Director and Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) to address immediate issues and gaps by providing research, analysis and coordination to ensure key divisional deliverables are met • provide advice and executive support on key activities, initiatives, and engagements. I also am well versed in project management and critical incident/crisis management based on my experience as a member of the Provincial Crisis Negotiation Team.
