Professional experience: • 30 years in heavy industry, including several management positions overseeing direct reports. • 19 years of direct customer interaction, consisting of several different roles. At a previous employer, I was a Mechanical Quality Manager and Mechanical Manager. Duties included customer interaction reviewing service estimates and job scopes which included pricing. During my tenor with SKF there has been daily customer interaction. These interactions include offering solutions, price and availability discussions, etc. I also assist when Technical Sales Managers are absent. • Key Skills: I possess strong interpersonal skills, a high level of motivation, a strong reputation in industry, strong knowledge of numerous industries, strong organizational skills, and the desire to do the right thing for our customers and for SKF. Fun fact, I have inspected over bearings and issued reports them while being employed at SKF. • Industry Experience: pulp & paper, mining, steel, marine, food & beverage, ports, agricultural, chemical, sugar, machining & fabricating, naval, theme park, etc. Career Aspirations: I would like to continue to grow my technical skills and knowledge along with possibly moving into another role at some point. This could possibly involve training coworkers or customers, managing direct reports, or further involvement in sales.
