I am a dedicated and results-driven professional with over 25 years of IT and 20+ years of Cyber Security experience of unwavering passion and motivation, demonstrating robust technical expertise and adept management skills in driving successful projects and leading a cross-functional team to achieve organisational excellence. I was a PCI QSA (Qualified Security Assessor) for over 12 years, before moving into my new non-QSA role at AppCheck where I look forward to embracing my new career as a Chief Information Security Officer and all the challenges that this brings in this new role.In my role at Claranet I had the pleasure of building a successful GRC function. My work focused on building new services to meet customer’s needs and Claranet’s ambitious growth. To support this activity, I built an amazing GRC team, leading them to do amazing things for our customers and in support of Claranet by growing the services offered and increase billable work. For ever 6 years, I successfully led a multi-million-pound project for a large FTSE 100 customer not only supporting Claranet’s revenue generation but also supporting the customer's ongoing strategy.One of my biggest achievements was building the Microsoft 365 Certification framework on behalf of Microsoft allowing Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) become certified against the Microsoft 365 App Compliance Program. I built the initial framework and delivered it for almost 12 months before building, training, and managing a dedicated team to deliver the auditing function and ongoing development for this certification program.I gained a girth of experience in networking and systems before moving into Information Security where my real passion lies.I obtained my MBA in 2012, along with a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute as a Dual Award with my Masters Degree.
