Wayne Platt has almost 30 years of experience in providing financial and valuation advisory services to Fortune 500 companies, middle-market companies and state and public institutions in the areas of fairness opinions, solvency opinions, business and securities valuations, mergers & acquisitions, financings, and shareholder liquidity analyses, across a wide range of industries. He has served as financial advisor in over 1,500 situations, covering financial and strategic acquisitions, LBO's, MBO's, debt for equity swaps, and general corporate advisory services, advising Boards of Directors, senior management and Special Committees to Boards of Directors Prior to joining Impact Capital, Mr. Platt spent over 3 years with Diamond Capital, and over 25 years with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, an international investment bank, where he served on Houlihan Lokey's International Fairness Opinion Review Committee and International Solvency Opinion Review Committee, and also served on its Technical Standards Committee. Mr. Platt was responsible for opening Houlihan Lokey's Canadian operations, which he headed for a number of years. He is a frequent speaker on various valuation topics. Mr. Platt has an MBA from The Wharton School, and holds the designation of Chartered Accountant (SA). He has an undergraduate degree in finance (with Honors) from the University of Cape Town, and spent 3 years with Arthur Anderson & Co.
