About Wayne Pua

Hello! I'm Wayne Pua, a UX/UI Designer currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in the Digital Experience Design program at George Brown College. My goal is to create meaningful user-centric experiences through thoughtful design strategies. My previous work experiences in customer service, hospitality, and as a supervisor have me a strong leader equipped with a diverse range of skills and a strong work ethic- In my role as a supervisor, I have developed strong leadership skills by emphasizing collaboration and effective communication. I ensure that my team feels comfortable working together and encourage them to voice their ideas and suggestions to enhance productivity- My previous work in the hospitality industry has provided me with valuable skills in fast-paced environments. These experiences have cultivated my ability to quickly adapt and collaborate effectively with my colleagues, allowing me to offer assistance whenever needed- My Customer Service work has provided me with strong soft skills cultivating empathic and sympathetic toward customers’ needs. Understanding the needs of my customers has allowed me to make changes that have enhanced customer experiences. I’m confident that my experience has equipped me with the skills necessary to be a diligent, attentive, and passionate designer who will be a good fit on any team. I’m eager to start my journey as a UX designer and would love to talk about it too!
