I am a long time toolmaker (44years). I started right out of high school working for the premier tool shop in the area. In my senior year I did a 2 year vo-ed class in 1 year and aced it. That's right, top of the class. My instructor took me to the job interview himself, personally. First day on the job was running a grinder, not sweeping the floor. After 2 years my opportunities at this company had run out. Could do the most difficult work and got mediocre pay for my effort. I can setup and run a variety of hand machines, Surface Grinders, OD Grinders, ID Grinders (vertical and horizontal), Blanchard Grinders and your standard Bridgeport mill. I started Roadrunner Precision Machining in and in 2013 have expanded into CNC Turning and have learned the science of Hard Turning. Hurco machine only. I learned their conversational programing so never needed to learn G-code. I do very good work! You will look a long time to find anyone else with the skill and creativity that I posses. I am not looking to be employed by anyone, I have my own company. I AM A BAD ASS TOOLMAKER!
