About Wayne Singleton

As a Senior HR Professional I work with senior managers, board members and business owners to deliver effective HR management and people solutions across their business. I have over 20 years of experience in HR roles in very different and distinct industries, including engineering/manufacturing, customer service/utilities and hospitality. My core competencies include recruitment, TUPE, tribunal case management, policy and procedure development, absence/attendance management, and complex employee relations caseload. I'm also hugely passionate about skills development, vocational education, and learning and development - particularly through Early Careers/Emerging Talent pipelines. I believe strongly in the benefits of activity and the outdoors on physical and mental health, and I've pursued this through my role as a director and running coach at Jogging Pals Ltd, as a mountain leader, and by undertaking personal physical challenges such as the Marathon des Sables and my current project to swim the Cumbrian coastline.
