I'm excited about the future of UK Rail. Why? Because momentum is now really building to transform the ticketing offer across the network, making fares easy to understand and removing massively outdated products. I'm proud to have led the way on fares reform and paved a path to building trust in pricing, through innovative pilot schemes and a strategy that tackles the big issues head on. I'm committed to fares simplification, improving the customer experience and growth. I ask the right questions and I work hard to deliver solutions. I'm motivated to enact real change, writing the future of ticketing for UK Rail. Summer 2025 - After three very successful years with LNER full of achievements right across my remit, I'm now keen to step things up and deliver even bigger things for a business with even greater reach. What am I about? In a word, innovation. I'm a problem-solver. I ask the right questions and I probe data, processes and objectives. I design solutions and build plans for the future. I strive to make a positive impact and look to make progress quickly. Continually seeking opportunities to challenge myself and develop my skills, I'm frequently testing new ideas to push the boundaries. I have a thirst for knowledge and influence and I thrive in a fast-paced, varied and busy role. I leave absolutely everything on the playing field. I value good open communication, loyalty and commitment, and I lead from the front! What else do I do? Outside of work, my main interest is in science & astronomy. I also have a passion for the environment and wildlife conservation. I love animals and I want to do everything I can to help to protect them. With 12 months' voluntary experience across 4 different UK Zoos, I have been able to work closely with a whole host of endangered species, from primates and small mammals, to Lions and Bears! I also love travelling, and Borneo is top of my list! Note of thanks To those who gave me a chance early on, provided business experience, set my career rolling with various new opportunities, and provided the training and mentoring to really open the door to my future, I am so grateful!
