About Weixi Tan

A bilingual Certified Professional Trainer (IPMA, UK), Weixi spends the majority of his time travelling around the world to facilitate programs in the areas of leadership, design thinking, performance management, project management, and facilitative techniques. A passionate student of the complexities that underpins human communications, he believes that equipping employees with soft skills is vital to the success of any organisation.Personally trained by Dr."Thiagi"(USA) in the art of interactive training techniques, Weixi’s style can be best described as planned spontaneity, whereby he uses a range of fun and informal participatory approaches, backed by knowledge and clear intent, to trigger learning and reflection. Weixi has prior experience as an Operational and Requirements Manager managing Asia Pacific operations, specifically, portfolio management and contract negotiations for a world leader in the development, manufacture and delivery of training and simulation turnkey projects for the military and civil markets. His current career as a professional trainer and management consultant provided him with opportunities to develop and deliver customised training workshops for participants from different nationalities, across various industries from both the private and public sectors. He also serves as an Adjunct lecturer for academic programmes offered by several tertiary institutions. Over the years, he has attained certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMI, USA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA, CAN), and Certified Scrum Master. He is also a certified Master Facilitator in several psychometric tools, include CoreStrengths and the Workplace Big Five. Academically, Wei Xi holds a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore, Masters in Business Analysis (George Washington University, USA), as well as a Masters in Organisational Leadership (conferred by Monash University).
