About Welde Dubar

As an educator, I apply my MFA in Parent Education to support and empower parents and families in various aspects of child development, learning, and wellbeing. I have over five years of experience in teaching, coaching, and facilitating parenting workshops, both in-person and online, for diverse and inclusive communities. I have also worked as an educator at Wayzata Public Schools, and Anoka- Hennepin Public Schools where I collaborated with other teachers and staff to provide quality parent and early childhood education and care. Some of the skills that I bring to my role are parent advocacy, communication, curriculum development, and assessment. My core competencies are empathy, relationship building, creativity, and collaboration. My mission is to help parents and children thrive as they grow together, and my field of expertise is parenting education and relationships building. My values and goals are aligned with those of the MNAFEE organization which are to respect, nurture, and inspire each student and their family.
