About Weldon Blastorah
I am a current PGY-1 in family medicine at Queens University, Kingston site. I am a graduate of the fourth-year GEM program at RCSI. Interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, radiology, surgical assist, anesthesia, emergency, and rural/wilderness medicine. I previously studied at uOttawa where I completed a Hons BSc. in biomedical science, with a minor in chemistry. I worked at the Barriault lab for one year where I performed an honours project in photoredox chemistry. Outside of school, I am the Coxswain for the RCSI senior boys rowing team and I enjoy the gym and physical fitness. I am often outdoors getting fresh air, fishing and hiking. I also have a passion for music, where I play piano, trombone, french horn and enjoy listening to new music in my spare time. I am interested in technology and am knowledgeable in computer security, linux, python, and REDCap.
