About Wendi Lanham

I was young when I started my professional creative career as an actor and model. By the time I was in my twenties, I knew I needed business skills, and I needed them fast. I was working internationally as a model when I completed a Diploma of Business Management. When I returned to Australia I decided to focus on my acting, and complete my Bachelor of Performance. It was at university that I met my current boss Monica Davidson, founder of Creative Plus Business, who took me on and mentored me as an intern during my studies. I worked alongside her at Creative Plus Business, and continued to build my creative career. Now I'm the General Manager and 2IC of Creative Plus Business, still working with Monica, and continuing my professional life as a model, actor and presenter. I'm passionate about educating and empowering fellow creatives as they become more entrepreneurial, because I know first-hand how important it is. I also care deeply about inclusion and fairness, and I strive to use my skills as a way of telling stories and amplifying perspectives from people who are under-represented in our world. Next steps? I'm developing my skills as a producer, so I can merge all my creative pathways to create interesting new projects.
