About Wendy Alletson

I am an experienced and enthusiastic designer and deliverer of individual and corporate training. I have a real passion for providing the highest quality of service by educating, training, supporting and enabling others to develop their skillset in a productive, safe and trusted learning environment. After 12 years of diverse experience encompassing talent management, leadership and organisational learning and development at operational, tactical and strategic levels within the justice sector, I am now looking for a new opportunity to apply my broad expertise in the L&D field and add value to an organisation that demonstrates commitment to supporting employees’ growth. In the course of my career I have designed and implemented talent management approaches, systems and ethos to enhance organisational ability to attract, develop and retain the most talented individuals. I have applied my consultancy and research skills to evaluate L&D needs across the company and facilitated complex training programmes in a structured and phased manner, applying PRINCE2 methodology to coordinate organisational development. Having worked as Leadership Development Programme Coordinator and Manager, I project managed leadership competencies development programme at local, national and international levels, using psychometric testing and coaching to enhance individual learning capacity. While not at work, I regularly engage in various outdoor activities involving snow, mountains and water. I am a keen sailor, mountaineer, skier, sea-kayaker and outdoor educational teacher.
