About Wendy Armbruster

Currently studying Landscape Horticulture at UBC Botanical Garden. Upon graduation in April, I will be seeking a role in the Landscape Design space. Please reach out if you would like to connect. I am a natural leader and am proud of the teams that I built, and were a part of over the years. My past experience in customer service and retail, as well as owning several businesses (both product- and service-based) provides me with a solid managerial foundation, showcasing a variety of skills - including but not limited to design, communication, customer service, creativity, resourcefulness, organization, time management, and out-of-the-box thinking. I am an award-winning entrepreneur and product developer. My businesses/products have been featured in Pregnancy & Newborn, New York Family, Canadian Family and TIME magazines as well as on Dragons’ Den, Fox 5 San Diego, Cool Mom Picks, Parents TV, Breakfast Television, Celebrity Baby Scoop, Examiner.com and Babble.com, to name a few. I was named a Top Mompreneur for 2009 by The Mompreneur Magazine, was a top finalist in Small Business BC’s Successful You Awards in the Business Growth category in 2010, won the 2014 Leading Moms Award and was a nominee for the 2016 Canadian Mompreneur of the Year. My passions include horticulture, design, entertaining, spending time with my (cray cray) family, planning, organizing, and improving (processes, people and products). I love to learn, and am incredibly resourceful & detail-oriented. And I loves lists - lots of lists!
