About Wendy Becenko

With over 25 years of experience in municipal and non-profit organization governance and administration, I am a seasoned professional who can provide leadership, creativity, and efficiency to any organization. I hold a Certificate in Public Sector Governance, a Certificate in Local Government Authority, an Economic Development certificate, and a Business Accountancy Diploma, demonstrating my commitment to continuous learning and excellence in my field. Currently, I serve as a Board of Governor at Suncrest College, a successful merger of Parkland and Cumberland Regional Colleges, and a Board of Director at Affinity Credit Union, a cooperative financial institution with over $8 billion in assets. I also work as an Administrative Assistant at Good Spirit School Division 204, where I support the School Administrator with financial and office administration tasks for a local high school. In these roles, I apply my skills and knowledge in business strategy, budgeting, administration, and governance to help advance the vision and mission of these organizations. I am passionate about promoting education, community development, and economic growth in Saskatchewan, and I seek opportunities to collaborate with and learn from others who share these values and goals.
