I have been working in diabetes management and counselling for 25 years both in the Public and Private sector before starting with the team at Sydney Endocrinology in Private Practice and the Mater Hospital in North Sydney. Experience in providing diabetes education and management advice and counselling to people with Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes within and outside the hospital setting. Working extensively with people who require insulin, providing education on insulin management skills, insulin stabilisation and insulin pump therapy within a team environment. I have an interest in plant based nutrition in managing diabetes. Co-ordinates the weight loss program at Sydney Endocrinology. Wendy is a member of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association, Australian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society, Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the Advisory Committee of the University of Technology, Sydney.
