A highly experienced financial services investment professional with over 25 years of experience across all disciplines of the sell-side including investment banking and research. Prior equity analyst experience covering consumer and retail sectors. Served as the Associate Director of Research with management responsibility for research associates, as well as the budget, operations and administration for the department. Most recently, I am a Director-level member of global research management team, managing the team of Supervisory Analysts that are responsible for the approval and publication of over research notes annually. I drive technology solutions, manage the research compliance oversight, and am an active participant in the investment rating committee. Ability to act under intense pressure, quick thinking, and logical in driving business results while maintaining an engaging and positive attitude. I am equally strong at idea generation as I am at project management, driving system enhancements for our global publishing platform. Enjoy building strong relationships and managing a publishing/supervisory analyst team that supports 200+ person department 24/7 across the globe including Asia, Great Britain, Europe, and North American. Before coming to RBC, I was a commercial banker for Fortune 500 companies and worked in cash management at Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo). I have an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and have been a CFA charter holder since I was also an investment committee member for the University of Minnesota’s Carlson Equity Growth Fund, mentoring MBA students and actively voting on the fund’s stock selection, for over 20 years. I have run multiple marathons and am happiest when outdoors. I love the mountains, both hiking and skiing, and have been fortunate enough to heli-ski in both Canada and Chile a few times.
