About Wendy Cooper

Travel is an integral part of who I am. From an early age I loved the excitement of going somewhere. anywhere. From sitting in the "way back" of the family station wagon to visit the White Mountains to going to Florida from New England, in the summer, in my grandfather's non air conditioned car. I look back on it all with pure whimsy and delight. That love turned into a career as a flight attendant at American Airlines and from there as the founder of World on the Fly Travel. Today my idea of a great trip has changed (I mean, there's no more station wagons that have the "way back") but the joy I find in creating itineraries and seeing my happy clients compares to my childhood, travel memories. At World on the Fly we create custom itineraries for each client. We listen to what our clients want and work as a team to get them the ideal trip. We have relationships with suppliers around the world so our clients have an in-country contact while traveling, which may seem inconsequential until you are in need of assistance and then it suddenly becomes paramount. When we aren't honing our skills as advisors by taking classes, building supplier relationships, attending conferences, and staying updated on continuously changing industry, we are traveling the world to get a deeper understanding of places we're familiar with or visiting places for the first time so we can share our insight with our clients and have first-hand knowledge of destinations. I surround myself with a team that is as dedicated to our clients as I am. We strive to give you a well thought-out, well planned, detailed, and stress-free, travel experience. We explain our process and help by giving you guidance and recommendations along the way. Today's traveler may know where they want to go and may even know what they want to do but having the time, dedication, and skill to make it all happen should be left to the experts at World on the Fly Travel. When I'm not wearing my travel hat, I work on The Hygiene Project, a foundation I created to help homeless and parentless kids. The Hygiene Project of the NH Seacoast is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization supporting homeless and at-risk teenagers by providing hygiene products. Our goal is to build confidence and raise spirits by helping vulnerable students to feel clean, comfortable, and confident with their appearance.
