About Wendy Duncan

I am an experienced R&D professional and proud to have successfully delivered 100s of end-to-end innovation and renovation projects for FMCG in retail and foodservice. I have worked with some amazing local and global brands, most recently KNORR, Hellmann’s and the plant-based protein brand The Vegetarian Butcher. I pride myself on my attention to detail, functional expertise and broad knowledge base. I’ve been the lead adviser on R&D, Sustainability, Packaging, Nutrition, Allergens and Food Labelling Law to Leadership teams. I enjoy managing and coaching direct and matrix global teams. I love challenges and am solution-orientated, and with this, I bring my excellent communication and collaboration skills. I am passionate about sustainability, and I have years of experience in the field. My main focus areas are climate net zero, food service (operator) food waste, regenerative agriculture, sustainably sourced ingredients, sustainable packaging solutions, and health and nutrition improvements. I'm currently expanding my knowledge with a Diploma in Business Sustainability. After returning from my career break, I'm delighted to be using my knowledge as an Allergen Consultant and Trainer to the food industry.
