About Wendy Fall

I am a professional educator with a PhD in English Literature from Marquette University. I have been teaching since 2010 (in high school), and in higher education since 2013. I am currently a health educator at the Wisconsin Department of Public Health, also teaching as an adjunct. Working in multiple colleges and in diverse populations, I have taught in-person, fully online, and collaborative hybrid courses. I'm proficient in multiple online learning platforms, as well as a rich array of in-person pedagogical techniques. I am an encouraging teacher who engages students with challenging material, but also provides ample support and scaffolding to help them succeed. I am strongly rooted in social justice and believe that anyone can learn. I work to model inclusive practices in everything I do as a practicing anti-racist, feminist, LGBTQ+ allied leader. I welcome students and colleauges of all ability, identity, intersectionality, age, faith, and citizenship status. My professional conduct is based on core principles of fairness, inclusivity, respect, equitability, and the importance of the production and dissemination of knowledge.
