I'm an employment adviser with a background of over 10 years in therapeutic counselling and workplace welfare so I know that helping someone to find the right job is so much more than just tailoring a CV. My greatest strengths lie in communication and creating a safe space where people feel genuinely heard and supported. Whether someone is facing long-term unemployment, mental health challenges or a knock to their confidence, I'm skilled at putting people at ease and building the kind of trust and rapport that helps real progress happen. Managing a varied caseload comes naturally to me, I'm organised, responsive and always focused on moving things forward in a way that suits each individual. I tailor my approach to match the needs of the person I'm supporting and regularly receive feedback that my approach has made people feel more confident, motivated and hopeful about their future. That kind of feedback means the world to me. Job searching is tiring and emotionally demanding, and it really is an artform in itself, with skills that can definitely be learned. I love to help make that process easier for people and empower them with skills that will help them start, pivot or develop their career.
