About Wendy Romo

As a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional, I have a strong track record of success in supervision and leadership roles. With over fourteen years of experience in the field, I have developed a deep understanding of the culinary arts, including food safety, quality, menu development, and financial performance. In my prior positions, I was responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive culinary strategies. I developed a series of year-round cooking courses and created an employee training program, which helped improve overall team performance. I also ensured team compliance with regulatory requirements and department policies and procedures and trained staff on safe operating procedures in the kitchen. I was able to meet targeted profit objectives by controlling food, supply, and labor costs, and maximizing sales through aggressive marketing and promotions. In addition, I established additional revenue-generating income through catering and special events. Overall, my experience has given me a strong foundation in the culinary arts field and the skills necessary to effectively supervise and lead others in a kitchen setting. I am committed to continuing to develop my skills and make a positive impact in the industry.
