A seasoned HR practitioner and leader with extensive HR generalist experience, and global exposure in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK and Australia. My experience spans across sectors such as land and sea transport, oil & gas, automotive and retail.I have good track records in strategic business partnering and helping the line to manage transformation. Specifically, I have had experience partnering organisations in their transformation of culture and operating model, business diversification into related ecosystems/supply chains, development of digitalisation/technology road map, as well as sustainable initiatives; co-creating manpower solutions in their journey.Rising through the ranks and having exposed to full spectrum of HR functions, I lead by example and with empathy for my people, and have a strong ability to understand business issues both at the strategic and operational levels. This quote by Sir Richard Branson inspired me “Train your people well enough so they can leave but treat them well enough so they don’t want to.”. It really is a delicate balance that HR has to help the line managers achieve. Not easy but with passion and dedication, we can do this!
