About Wendy Wheat

As a veteran secondary mathematics educator, I have a passion for helping people learn. I am dedicated to developing creative lessons that engage and promote problem solving. I have gained valuable experience in curriculum development, instruction technology, creating assessments, and e-learning. Inspired during the recent pandemic to work towards an advanced degree in education technology, I earned a Master's in Educational Technology from the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley in the summer of 2022. A love of learning led me to graduate with additional certifications in e-learning, technology leadership, and online instructional design. With experience in learning management systems, the ADDIE design process, and various course design software, I hope to bring knowledge, leadership and experience in designing instruction to fellow team members in order to prove how it can benefit them and their learners.
