About Werner B. Korte

Werner B. KORTE was and is responsible for managing many of the largest research and development projects in relation to ICT-based service for energy saving, monitoring and benchmarking the information society, new forms of work and employment, telework, e-skills, demographic change and ageing and other topic areas. Werner has been and still is project manager of large-scale international empirica projects in these areas, including different DGs of the European Commission, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, national ministries, federal and regional governments and ministries, and local governments since the early 1980s. Since the early 1990s he has been project manager of and responsible for a large number of large scale service contracts and projects. For many years he has been and is responsible for a whole series of European studies and projects in these areas. From these activities he has gained vast experiences in collecting market information and in planning and conducting surveys, market research projects, expert interviews etc. in addition to his skills and expertise in project development and management, research and consultancy.
