In a world increasingly characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), leadership that provides direction is essential. My strength lies in leading multidisciplinary teams. I bring together people from different backgrounds, mindsets, and disciplines and align them toward a common goal. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, I have led teams that could hardly be more diverse in their composition. My aim is to facilitate collaboration, create clarity, and promote performance, even without my own detailed expertise. For me, leadership is about attitude, not hierarchy. I lead people, not functions, and create structures in which trust, responsibility, and sustainable results emerge. My career path began unconventionally: from radio and television technician to management via adult education. This experience has taught me that success does not depend on where you start, but on your willingness to learn, your adaptability, and your passion. In addition to my professional activities, I am involved as deputy district emergency services manager and Red Cross representative in the German Red Cross, where I experience leadership, crisis management, and teamwork in extreme situations. This role has had a lasting impact on and deepened my view of leadership. I am convinced that good leadership arises where clarity, orientation, and trust come together.
