About Wes Tolbert

Wes is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army for 4 years as a Sergeant both here in the U.S. and overseas. In 2002, Wes joined the Merrill Lynch Private Client Group. Wes uses a Goals Based Wealth Management philosophy that is centered around his fiduciary responsibility to clients. As a result, he builds a special relationship that combines financial experience with knowledge to plan, protect and help fulfill a vision for the future. His goal is to provide guidance and direction to help build a lasting legacy that can transcend generations. His commitment to a goals based philosophy is demonstrated by first developing a comprehensive wealth outlook to understand client's goals and objectives. With a deep understanding of what is important to the client he is able to map out a foundation for wealth managment strategies and customized investment portfolios that help meet each client's goals and objectives. Wes has the designation of CRPC®, which helps him assist clients simplify their financial concerns that are near or currently in the retirement stage of life, as well as estate planning services, tax minimization, and asset allocation strategies based on consistent performance, risk management and regular communication. He also utilizes his experience in help clients with concentrated stock management, employee stock option plans and restricted stock sales. Wes lives in Bellaire Texas with his wife Allison and daughter Lydia. He also has a daughter, Sarah and grandson, Jaxon that live in Dexter Missouri.
