About Wesley Baker

As a Policy Analyst for the House Committee on Appropriations - Majority Staff, I have over a year of experience in analyzing and influencing public policy, budgeting, and legislative strategy. I work with a diverse and bipartisan team of experts to oversee and allocate federal spending, support the appropriations process, and advise members of Congress on key issues and priorities.I am passionate about public service and committed to making a positive difference in our democracy. I am currently completing my Master's degree in Legislative Affairs at George Washington University, where I deepen my knowledge and skills in the legislative branch and its interactions with other institutions. I am also a proud alum of the Stennis Program for Congressional Interns, a prestigious and selective program that enhanced my understanding and appreciation of Congress as an institution. Additionally, I am a member of Pi Sigma, the national honor society for political science and government. My goal is to leverage my education, experience, and skills to drive impactful change in public service.
