Background
About Wesley Correa
I am a passionate history teacher and for many years I was researching in this area too. Currently, I teach World Course (Humanities) at Avenues World School São Paulo. I have recently worked as a Social Studies teacher at Pueri Domus and as a Cambridge Global Perspectives teacher at Aubrick, both in São Paulo. For three moments in my career, I received scholarships from prestigious institutions (such as CAPES & FAPESP - from federal and state governments respectively) and I recently finished my doctoral degree at the University of Oxford, in the UK. At Oxford, I also worked with tutorials, lectures, and different seminars. Before that, I had worked as an upper-grade history teacher and as a humanities coordinator in a school in Guarulhos, Brazil. I also taught middle graders and adults for a brief period in São Paulo State Schools.
