With over 10 years of military work experience in construction and maintenance, I am a skilled and reliable Assistant Area Coordinator at the California Military Department, where I assist and facilitate Sustainment, Restoration, and Maintenance (SRM) related to buildings and infrastructure. My core competencies include project estimation, inspection, compliance, and supervisory support. I am passionate about ensuring the safety, quality, and functionality of the facilities and utilities that serve the military community. I value teamwork, integrity, and excellence, and I strive to contribute to the mission and vision of the organization. In my current role, I use my skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings, estimating material, time, equipment, and labor requirements, and supervising the construction and repair of various structures and systems. I also ensure compliance with reporting on building conditions, as well as local, state, and federal regulations and programs, using various databases. Additionally, I provide intermediate level supervisory support over the maintenance team under the guidance of the Area Coordinator. I have successfully completed multiple SRM projects within budget and schedule, and received positive feedback from the stakeholders.
