About Wesley Karger

Wesley (Wes) co-founded TwinFocus and has spent the majority of his career as an entrepreneur in the financial services space. He has been serving financially successful families for almost two decades. As Managing Partner of TwinFocus, he engages client families to build their wealth enterprises and provides the support and control they need to manage their wealth as a successful business enterprise. He serves as a trusted and valued advisor to the firm’s key clients, and his informed counsel and personal follow-through is the decisive factor in helping high-net-worth families and their foundations achieve success across multiple generations. Wes advises private and institutional investors on their investment portfolio risk-management strategies and works closely with clients to develop strategies that encompass family governance, intergenerational planning and investment education. As one of four managing partners, he oversees the firm’s strategic business initiatives and stewards the overall management of the organization and its divisions. Wes is a nationally recognized leader in the family office industry and has dedicated his professional career to empowering financially successful families to manage their wealth. Since co-founding TwinFocus in 2006, he has led the firm’s evolution, adding an extensive range of expertise and services, which has enabled the firm to become the leading global multi-single family office. He is also a member of the firm’s Management and Investment Committee. Prior to co-founding TwinFocus, Wes founded The Karger Group at UBS Financial Services, advising select institutions and high-net-worth individuals and managing their positions in equity, fixed income and alternative investments. Wes joined UBS from State Street Corporation, where he worked with the Investment Portfolio Group of State Street Global Markets, the body responsible for managing the bank’s proprietary balance sheet portfolio.
