I have graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology in May 2012, with a Diploma in mechanical engineering technology, systems option. Throughout my studies at BCIT I have completed numerous building systems project which includes but not limited to the following: • Revit Architecture and Revit MEP (currently in progress)- Worked collaboratively in a two-person team to complete a 3D model in Revit of HVAC system and plumbing system for a two-storey office building - Constructed Revit MEP templates based on building materials, duct sizes, plumbing pipe sizes and materials - Assigned room ID to each space and zoned them accordingly with similar exposures - Conducted load analysis with Trace700 software and compared results with Revit MEP’s built-in building analysis tools - Created a Revit walkthrough to demonstrate exterior and interior features of the two-storey office building - Self-taught by watching and reviewing videos on RevitMonster and Youtube website • Riverview Hospital project - Measured the exterior dimension of the cottages & recorded them - Dimensions were used to calculated the heating load of the cottages - Architectural elevations and floor plans were created based on the dimensions - Formal building description documented using Microsoft Word • Hydronic heating systems project - Produced preliminary report of a hydronic heating system for a two-storey office building in AutoCAD - Received feedback from faculty adviser and adjusted design accordingly in order to complete final report - Drafted a schematic of the hydronic heating system - Created an equipment schedule based on calculations
