About Wesley Silva

I am an Electrical Engineer and Field Service Engineer with more than 15 years of experience, I worked with different analytical instrumentation techniques with different manufacturers, I worked as a support and analyst. I've been a customer and worked in a laboratory and today I'm on the other side as a supplier. Currently, in my job, I provide on-site customer support, traveling frequently in my current country, Canada, living in Montreal. Until May 2023, I was on the Brazil team, responsible for the southern region, but also supporting Latin America with remote and face-to-face support. I'm responsible for Installing new systems, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, user and training, sample preparation and apply some application knowledge. I have experience in laboratory routines as I worked as a laboratory technician for a period of my career which gave me the basis to migrate to the technical support area later. I also acted in the main production processes and techniques of the Ceramics industry. In my course completion work I developed a low-cost smart home system by Arduino and developed an Android application for remote control. The system had some smart home commands like opening curtains, turning lights on and off, TV control and A/C and alarms such as fire and security with signs for opening doors and windows.
