I have been in coatings since 1998. I was in Shipbuilding for 9 years between Quality Shipyards and Bollinger Shipyards as a blaster/painter, then working my way up to Coatings Supervisor. I have worked on vessels for Tidewater, AEP, Golden Barge line, Kirby Marine, U.S.Corps of Engineers, Seacor, Hornbeck, Oceaneering, Marquette, and Eckstein Marine. The next 9 years I was in Fabrication where I worked on projects for Anadarko, Williams, Arena, Enbridge, Exxon, Noble, Loop, Baker Hughes, Chevron, Phillips, Stone Energy, Apache, Hess, Technip, H&P, Genesis Energy and BP Pipeline Offshore. During this process I became a NACE level 2 Inspector with plans to take the Peer Review and get Cathodic Protection certifications along with any other certifications that will further my career to be the best I can be in the Coatings Industry!
