About Wesley Wininger

Responsible for ensuring that the facilities that contract services are up to date with the most current and applicable information and that best practice and federal guidelines are being followed. In order to accomplish this I regularly meet with medical directors, administrators and other leadership to identify gaps and design an appropriate plan in order to meet the needs we have identified. I design an individualized approach for each facility. Solutions may include, but are not limited to; inservicing and educating nursing staff about any number of topics, ensuring that proper labs and monitoring are being utilized, ordering and analyzing labs, etc. It is my responsibility to manage patient medications, assist facilities in containing costs, and ensure they are following regulations. My position has allowed me to present educational programs to small groups as well as large groups of health care providers, and present to medical directors and other practitioners on a nearly daily basis. Once the need of each facility has been met, I meet with the leadership to ensure that the plan has been implemented and embedded. With the goal of continuous improvement, we then begin to diagnose the next need that we can collaborate on.
