We are the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of shelving, racking, trolleys and wirework products. Using our expertise and experience of more than 60 years, combined with the latest technologies, we offer space-saving design and innovation in storage and handling. They are easy to assemble and come in a range of modular options, including our renowned Firmashelf storage range. Alongside our standard product range, we also offer OEM and Bespoke solutions to match specific storage and handling requirements. All our products are designed and manufactured at our Yorkshire premises using mainly UK-sourced materials, and we work with an established network of trusted British suppliers. This means we are able to offer high quality products at low cost and with short lead times in both small and larger volumes, even for bespoke items. Founded in 1958 to fulfil the fabrication needs of the local community, Craven & Co Ltd developed its first modular shelving system in the early 1970s. This was later refined into the first version of our renowned Firmashelf storage range that now provides shelving in chrome, aluminium, stainless steel, nylon or plastic coated, zinc chromate and epoxy finishes. In the early 1990s, following continued growth and success we moved to our current home, a square feet purpose-built manufacturing and office complex in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. We remain a thoroughly British manufacturer, with approximately 95% of our products designed and produced in Knaresborough.
