Hi, I'm Whitney! I love being a project manager because I've always been good at bringing people together and working towards common goals. I have a background in education which has taught me the value of being a lifelong learner and given me experience in identifying and mitigating gaps and other risks. I love to contribute to teams by bringing energy and positivity, not settling for the status quo and having a continuous improvement approach, all while exceeding expectations. My superpower lies in my empathy and perceptiveness, allowing me to truly listen and tap into the needs and problems of my stakeholders. Some of my career highlights include: Successfully led a project to implement a new system for an organization of stakeholders, resulting in 20% participation within the first year of launch Managed a team of 6 colleagues and stakeholders through the process of backwards-planning a project including the development of metric-based assessments and ultimately providing deliverables 2 weeks ahead of schedule Identifying and mitigating 50+ gaps and other project risks Outside of work, you’ll find me walking my dogs on the beach, reading or rereading young adult science fiction, or enjoying a Dole Whip in Disneyland.
