I graduated from the University of North Texas and 2013. I substitute taught in the Dallas area for a year before I moved down to Corpus Christi, Texas to teach art at Incarnate Word Academy in the high school, my alma mater. Due to low enrollment for the 2016-2017 school year, I was no longer able to stay prompting me to enter graduate school. I graduated with a Master's in Art History in May 2018. In attending TAEA every year, I have taken a number of workshops pertaining to museums and museum education which is where I began my appreciation for museums as more than just buildings at house art but places of learning and celebrating the achievements of different cultures over time. While working on my master's degree I worked in children's ministry at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. I have a number of skills that include secretarial and assistant positions that I have gained while working on my undergraduate degree.
